Agadir is the regional capital of the south of Morocco, just at the feet of the high atlas mountains. It was completely rebuilt in 1960 after the terrible earthquake that destroyed it. Close by the city you’ll find very famous beaches for surfing (we have 300 sunny days a year!) and a national park in the south famous for bird watching .

In the north from the city lies the famous fishing village Taghazout.
It was colonised by the hippie movement and you can still see curious signs saying banana village and paradise valley. Taghazout lies in a very scenic river valley with many natural swimming pools surrounded by palm trees.

Karim

Salamo-Alaykum, Peace upon you!

I'm Karim, a professional guide since 1996. I was born in the largest city of the country, Casablanca, and studied in the High International Institute of Tourism in the city of Tangier where I learned languages, marketing, sociology, history of art, management, itinerary, geography and travel agency techniques. I graduated in 1995 and speak English, Italian, French and Arabic.

I started doing excursions and cities visits surrounding my home town Agadir in 1997 as a guide. My Tours would include imperial cities and deserts, but also customised ones like bird watching, cooking classes and more.

I'm fascinated by history, geography, architecture, museums, botanical gardens and old monuments all across the country.

I will share with you my experience and my knowledge, so come walk with me!
