Girona is the city where I was born and raised and I couldn’t be more in love with it. As an art and history lover, I find in Girona a perfect combination of class and classic. Considered a city of legends and secrets, it has over 2000 years of history and enormous medieval heritage, provably that’s why it was chosen to be one of the sets for “Game of Thrones”.
Located on a halfway between the border with France and Barcelona city, not far away from the mountain and close enough to the sea, it has a strategic geographical situation being the goal of many conquests.
My purpose is to take you with me on a walking tour through the most important sightseers of the city such as the bridges of the river with its colorful houses, the Jewish quarter, the Cathedral, the gardens surrounding the old town and some beautiful views from the city wall. Come and walk Girona with me!
