Covering an estimated area of 44.9 sq mi, the length from north to south is about 11 miles long and 4miles wide at an elevation of  2915 ft. A cool climate makes Inlay lake a highly popular summer resorts, providing tranquility and serenity for both residents and visitors.

There are 47 villages around the lake and 27 villages on the lake. The lake dwellers and their primary culture include attractions like the floating gardens, the unique leg-rowers, flat-bottomed boats, traditional fishing methods , fabric woven from lotus stalk and silk used for colourful traditional costumes, the experience of travelling across the lake by long-tail boat and more.

On this tour, we will explore the fisherman’s village on the lake, their unique fishing method and one leg rowing style, their livelihood and stilt bamboo houses. We will learn how to make the traditional Cheroot (a type of local cigar), and watch carpenters create traditional wooden boats which are being used on the lake since the olden days until today!

Ride a boat along the lake with me, so I can show you the beautiful customs of Myanmar!

I'm experienced, efficient, accurate, organised and enthusiastic about my profession! I'm constantly learning more about the pleasant regional attitude and work on maintaining a strong group representation and communication skills.

I love to share my knowledge as much as I can, and find each question as an opportunity to learn something new. In my role as a tour guide since 2011, I've been learning a lot about culture, tribes, exploring nature and historical sites of Myanmar. I always care to satisfy my clients interests, and all of them fall in love with my country: the helpful people, the many ethnic groups, the beautiful scenery. And so will you!
