About

I was born and raised in Bogotá. When I was 10 my family moved to Barcelona where I grew up. Back in the 90’s we moved back to Colombia and I experienced the most difficult time for this country. I also experienced how things got much better.

I lived for a while in New York and as I’m a “victim” of this crazy passion for art and culture I think I went every single day to the Metropolitan Museum. That inspired me to teach art history back in Bogota

Years later I moved again to Barcelona and for 15 years I had have the privilege to work as a Tour Director leading groups around Europe.

As almost half of my life has been outside of Colombia I can see my own country from a foreign point of view and I also have been seduced by the Colombian magic that makes visitors to fall in love.

Let me share that magic with you.

This was a rewarding hour walking through one of the city's residential/commercial/gastronomic districts by a personable guide who is well-rooted in his city and the Rosales barrio. This made for conversation beyond the normal "and on your left you can see..." so as to better understand what life is like for a Bogotaian(?) in one part of this sprawling city. It's given me enough of a taste to make it my next destination once COVID restrictions are lifted and it is safe to travel again. But in the meantime, this was an ideal way to "meet" the city and Antonio. In the meantime, this is an ideal way to both see a parts of a city and meet some fascinating guides.

It was such a pleasure to tour the city of Bogotá, Colombia with Antonio. We knew that our tour would be comprehensive especially regarding his level of knowledge of Bogotá (which is not surprising since he has lived much of his life there).
We saw the residential neighborhoods as well as the city centers, including many of the fascinating landmarks along the way. Bogotá is a historically significant city, with many grand buildings, a modern urban center and an interesting chapter of the beginnings of its educational system. Without the least hesitation, we would recommend taking this tour of this lovely city with a friendly, highly knowledgeable guide!
