Live Tours are carried out by our hosts, who are outdoors, on location and connected live to you via video call at all times.
My dear clients, if you love Picasso, but also history and good food you can’t miss this tour with me.
As we walk, we will discover the bohemian Barcelona of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, where Picasso lived during his youth through anecdotes about his friendships and the events that influenced his life and his artistic career.
This route will take you to such unique places as Llotga de Mar, the art school where he studied. We will also walk along the streets that were a source of inspiration for Picasso such as Les Demoiselles d’Avignon, Ciencia y Caridad and many others.
We will also walk to the Picasso museum with his early works, which is a key reference for understanding his formative years, and to understand his deep and solid relationship with Barcelona that continued until his death.
And I will show you one of the Barcelona’s jewels, The Basilica of Santa Maria del Mar, which is one of the most perfect examples of Gothic style architecture in all over Spain started in 1329.
Also don’t forget that we will walk along El Born which is the trendiest, liveliest and most popular neighborhood in Barcelona for its BO-HO feel and artistic edge as well as its great tapas bars, trendy bistros and very old authentic shops such as Casa Gispert, one of the oldest food stores in Barcelona since 1851.
We will spend such a nice time together, come walk with me!
