Welcome to my tour of the London of James Bond & his creator, Ian Fleming.
The walk starts on the NE corner of Hyde Park, on Park Lane which is packed with Bond connections. We then head through Mayfair, finishing at Dukes hotel in St James’ around 75 minutes later.
The purpose of the walk is to visit some of the places that played an important role in the life of both men. We will pass where Ian Fleming was born, have a look at two of the gentleman’s clubs he was a member of & have a look at some of his favourite shops. We will also have a look at the brands that provided Bond with his car & gun
During the live stream, I will tell you about some of the similarities & differences between the two men & I’ll let you know how the people & events in the life of Ian Fleming played a role in the characters & plots of the Bond novels.
However most people know Bond not through the books but through the films, so no Bond tour would be complete without going to visit the old offices of EON productions – the film company responsible for the 24 official Bond titles & counting.
