Product Description
Our walk starts at Plaza del Triunfo Sq from which 3 sites considered World Heritge by UNESCO can be seen at one glimpse. Theses sites are the Royal Palace or Alcázar in constant use since first built almost 1000 years ago by the Arabs, the imposing Cathedral and the rich Archive of the Indies. Not a bad start!
Let’s walk around the largest gothic Cathedral on earth that used to be a mosque and admire the highest elevation in city centre, the original minaret, the famous Giralda now bell tower of the temple – an Arab construction used by Christians in front of the former Jewish District.
We will continue along the charming, winding streets towards the elegant Plaza San Francisco and its surroundings, the magnificent Town Hall at the city centre. A building with a surprise you should not miss! Ont his very square there used to be a jail where the famous writer of Don Quijote, Cervantes, whose job was to collect taxes, spent some time.
Pedestrian shopping streets, where locals shop, can be found all around. Let me walk you in them and share the ambiance with you!
