Product Description
Welcome to Boston, the Birthplace of the American Revolution! We’ll begin our historical tour of “Beantown” (watch out! Locals never call it Beantown) with a stroll down Long Wharf, the oldest functioning commercial wharf in the United States. We’ll pass one of the oldest buildings in Boston which John Hancock, one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence once used as a warehouse for his trade businesses. We’ll continue our exploration of “The Hah-bah” (that’s harbor for you non Bostonians) as we travel back in time to 1773 and see how the Boston Tea Party fanned the flames of the american Revolution. Not too far up the road we will stop and recall the tale of the Boston Massacre before traveling to Boston’s bustling Downtown Crossing to discover more historical treasures like the Grainary Burial Ground, the Old South Meetinghouse and of course, the very place picture we Boston was founded, Boston Common.
During the course of our walk we will also explore places like Christopher Columbus park and Fanieul Hall to unlock the fascinating tales they have to tell with the voices of history. Come with me and enjoy a “wicked awesome” adventure of The Hub!
